All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

By placing an order on our site you agree that you are:

  • Are resident in the UK Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.

Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within the company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. Parliament has created specific offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.

Confidentiality

We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and as such, any information concerning the Client and their respective Client Records may be passed to third parties. However, Client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party other than if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. Clients have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Client Records we keep, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue Client’s with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties.

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.



Disclaimer

Exclusions and Limitations

The information on this web site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:

  • excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates or any other third party, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature; and
  • excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or you have advised this Company of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or indirect, consequential and incidental damages.

This Company does not however exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. The above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected.

  • Advises that as a costume jewellery company, items sent with your box will contain small parts. You are responsible for keeping these away from children. We will not accept liability for this.

Payment

All major Credit/Debit Cards and PayPal are acceptable methods of payment. For month-to-month subscriptions your first payment will be taken immediately at sign up (unless a free voucher code is used). By purchasing a month to month subscription you acknowledge that your subscription has a recurring payment feature and that thereafter a monthly payment will be taken from the card used to sign up with on the 1st of every month.

For three, six and twelve-month subscriptions, full payment will be taken immediately. All goods remain the property of the Company until paid for in full. For our fixed three, six or twelve-month subscription, your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of the period signed up for. You may opt out of automatic renewal before the 14th day of your expiration month through your customer account. Any three, six or twelve-month subscription (fixed or gift) cancelled before the subscription expiration is not eligible for a refund.

Sparkle and Rock boxes are shipped around the 22nd of the month however we reserve the right to cancel or decline any order with no reason given. Where we cancel a subscription for which payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.

Discounts and Promotions

We may offer gift cards, discount promotions and other types of voucher (Voucher) which require to be activated by email application in order for the holder to commence delivery of Products through a Service. If paid for, the Voucher is deemed to have been sold at the time of payment for it. All of these terms and conditions shall become applicable as between us and the holder of the Voucher (Holder) when the Holder redeems the Voucher by applying for a Service to commence.

A Voucher may only be used once by its Holder and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or published either directly or indirectly in any form or stored in a data retrieval system without our prior written approval.

We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel any Voucher (other than a paid-up gift card) for any reason at any time.

Vouchers may only be redeemed through the website www.glossybox.co.uk and not through any other website or method of communication. To use your Voucher you will be required to enter its unique code at the online checkout and use of such code will be deemed to confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions and any special conditions attached to the Voucher.

Any discounts attached to Vouchers apply to the price of the Products ordered only and not to delivery charges, which will be chargeable at normal rates.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your month-to-month subscription at any time and all cancellations are effective immediately. After cancelation Sparkle & Rock Limited will not charge you for any subsequent months. If you have already been charged for the current month, you will receive your final box and no further charges will be made.

You also have the option to pause your subscription if it is not convenient for you to receive that month. Just log into your account and choose pause. If you have already been charged for that month you will receive your box and your account will remain on pause until you reactivate it.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

We do not except returns or exchange goods from subscription boxes unless you have received a faulty item. By subscribing to this site you are accepting to receive what is in your monthly box without seeing it. If you receive damaged or faulty goods please contact us immediately and we will, to the best of our ability, replace the goods with the same or a similar item subject to availability. If you are unhappy with your delivery please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to assist you.

Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy

Both the Client and ourselves have the right to terminate any Services Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway. No refunds shall be offered, where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway. Any monies that have been paid to us which constitute payment in respect of the provision of unused Services, shall be refunded.

Shipment of Products

We use Royal Mail as out third party carrier. Title and risk of loss for any purchases will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Although generally our subscription boxes will fit through a letter box we will occasionally be sending you a larger box which will need to be received. You are responsible for arranging for an individual to be present at the time of delivery and for the products to be properly received and secured.  Any individual at the delivery address who accepts delivery is conclusively presumed to be authorized to receive the delivery. Sparkle and Rock Limited is not responsible should such an individual not be authorized to accept such delivery. You agree that your sole method of recourse for unauthorized delivery resides with the carrier of your order. Sparkle and Rock Limited is not responsible should You enter any incorrect or inaccurate destination data in your order.

Unless otherwise stated, the services featured on this website are only available within the United Kingdom, or in relation to postings from the United Kingdom. We do not accept orders from outside of the United Kingdom Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. All advertising is intended solely for the United Kingdom market. Force Majeure

Waiver

Failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of this or any Agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and shall not cause a diminution of the obligations under this or any Agreement. No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.
